Yes, I'm still around. I stopped writing for the past three months because I was overcome by the pain. I was afraid whatever I wrote in my blog would all be words that tell you how painful I've been, and such words would only distress you and do you no good. However, I do miss this avenue of communication where I could let the world know what's on my mind... So in any case, here I am again.
In December we packed up everything and prepared our move to Hong Kong. First week of January we came to Taiwan for my follow-up. As it turned out, all the pain was not for nothing. Cancer is back. The follow-up MRI confirmed it. At this stage there is nothing more to do because I can't do radiation again on the same spot, and chemo at 20% success rate can only prolong life by 3 months. So they can only give me morphine, which is very much needed...
