treatment week 6

week 6 was more bearable because my brother David was in town :) we enjoyed several meals together and he brought us many gifts too. i had 2 internal radiation treatments this week and have therefore been exhausted most of the time (fatique is one of the side effects). my digestive system has not improved as i continue to get stomachache and diarrhea everyday (side effects as well). i did get new medication for my stomach problem so at least i'm still eating well. my bum has been hurting for some reason and i only found out today that my bum is kinda burned from the radiation treatments.. (i never bothered to look at my bum in the mirror after shower... until today. and my bum looks kinda blackened..) no wonder it hurts when i sit or lie in bed straight.. i put on some lotion and hoped it'd help. (i have been putting on lotion in the front part but it never occurred to me that my bum is exposed to radiation too... stupid me.) time seems to go by faster when my bro is around. next week will be my final week of treatment. my bro will be leaving on friday. i'll be having the last internal radiation treatment on thursday, which is also the last day of all the treatments i'm getting. 6 weeks after that, i'll get reassessed and will know then if i'll be needing surgery... please let all the cancer be killed by radiation... please... please...
